DESCRIPTION:Derby’s suite of moderation events is designed to provide an opportunity for practitioners to engage in some external moderation of their teacher assessments in writing. The sessions will focus on national materials for enhancing teachers’ understanding of the writing standards in order to make accurate judgements. There is the opportunity to attend these sessions for every year group across the primary setting. At all sessions teachers will have the opportunity to moderate judgements and so will need to bring a range of their pupils’ writing books. The venue for all of the events is Nightingale Hall\, Moor Lane\, Allenton\, Derby DE24 9HY. The cost for all schools is funded by the Nottingham and Derby Literacy Project.
