SUMMARY:Year 2 Moderation Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Nottingham’s suite of moderation events is designed to provide an opportunity for\npractitioners to engage in some external moderation of their teacher assessments\nin writing. The January sessions for Y2 and Y6 offer CPD using national materials\nfor enhancing teachers’ understanding of the writing standards in order to make\naccurate judgements. At all sessions teachers will have the opportunity to\nmoderate judgements and so will need to bring a range of their pupils’ writing\nbooks (below\, at and above the expected standard). The provider is Primary\nAdviser & Moderation Manager\, Jane Gill: jane.gill@nottinghamcity.gov.uk The cost\nfor all schools is funded by the Priority Literacy Project.
