All schools that meet the priority area criteria and are therefore ‘partner schools’ have access to support for leaders, teachers and teaching assistants via CPD.

Derby City

The Priority Literacy Targeted Offer, is open to identified schools within Derby. An overview of the opportunities available can be viewed via the following video and flyer.

Focus Areas

Primary – improving the teaching of reading and writing in order to increase attainment and improve progress for pupils at the end of KS2, particularly for disadvantaged pupils.

KS3 & KS4 – supporting improvements in reading fluency and writing stamina at KS3 to improve outcomes at KS4.

Designed bespokely as an outcome from the audit process, each session will address the needs of the schools engaging with the programme.
