This session will offer strategies support students' transition from KS2 to KS3 through effective writing sequences. It's inclusive, engaging, and structured to meet evolving needs. Emphasizing gradual skill development and understanding, it creates a motivating environment, preparing students for success in Key Stage 3 and beyond.
A) Uses evidence from research to investigate effective approaches for active reading in all subjects B) Reviews the skills and processes of reading to learn and selecting appropriate texts C) Revises knowledge, skills and strategies for comprehending subject disciplinary texts D) Introduces specific techniques for supporting and engaging reluctant readers including those with EAL
This training session focuses on teaching EAL students writing sequences inclusively, captivatedly, and structurally. Emphasizing language nuances, it encourages gradual skill development and fosters a supportive, encouraging learning environment for confident expression in English
